"Today the greatest challenge in publishing is distribution and discoverability. As a result, sites like [PictureBooksReview] are more important than ever to discerning readers, new authors and independent publishers."
-Steve Floyd, chief executive officer of August House books

"The interview is so amazing! I appreciate you picking up on all these aspects of what I've been doing. It's always great to talk with someone who understands what goes into these things."

- Jose Lucio, self-published author of Heave Ho!

Barack and Michelle Obama read, "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom."

The man has great oratory abilities, even his detractors will admit that. This is from just a couple of months ago, at the White House Easter Egg Hunt.
First, Malia and Sasha read, Where the Wild Things Are, followed by the president and the first lady presenting Bill Martin's Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. I have to say, its refreshing that these were their two books of choice. They're wonderful books, but not overtly political or patriotic. Just great stories.

Given that Sendak has recently come out of the closet, could it be that they chose his book as a covert nod to the homosexual agenda? Meanwhile, the African rhythms of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom clearly point toward the Africanization and Black Power which he wishes to usher in on all of us! Aha! Someone call Glenn Beck!
